Truth or Square (Video Game) - REVIEW

No no no no this is NOT the episode! This is the Video Game! Man my 14th review is the last time I did a video game review and my 4th review was the Plankton's Robotic Revenge. So 100 reviews later I'm reviewing another SpongeBob Game safe to say I'm overdue of calling myself a video game reviewer.

Anywho I'm reviewing the game prior to Plankton's Robotic Revenge and don't worry this one is actually good in fact prehaps the last good SpongeBob game ever! I hate Activision they've ruined SpongeBob, Tony Hawk and in my opinion Spyro. From what I can tell any of their newer games besides COD and Skylanders are glitched games with little to NO effort.

Why more people don't hate this company I'll never know. The only thing I can gather is because they are fans of the 2 previously mentioned games which by the way I don't like either and never did even before I hated Activision. COD I don't like because I don't FPS but from what I've it's the same shit every game.

And Skylanders is a fucking scam! (Yes I've said it) I mean come on that game could have easily of just had unlockable characters but no instead parents have to spend their money for their kids to be happy and oh by the way to get everything for the games your looking at $1000 each! As far as the gameplay goes it's suppose to be a multiplayer game but it fails and this since if your to far away you get pushed back with the player behind you meaning on a platform area this is a bitch. Also the villian spits in the face of Invader Zim. But enough about Activision because this game doesn't have that name in sight.

This game is 3rd installment of the Heavy Iron trilogy and I would have to the weakest (even though I haven't played the movie game all that much). The best way to describe this game would be Battle For Bikini Bottom DLC but you don't have the freedom in exploring Bikini Bottom like you did in that game and ALL of the levels are just memories of the main story. Memories of previous episode (like "Christmas Who", "Karate Choppers", and "Mermaid Man and "Barnicle Boy") and at the end of the level it has a cutscene featuring a line from the episode or a parody line which both are pretty neat.

Your enemies are robots (different from the ones in BFBB). The only reason I bring this up is because it makes no sense of where the even came from (again unlike BFBB) the best explaination we get is "They were their before you just didn't notice them."

I was playing this game on Wii with the nunchuck and where as you won't get carple tunnel your wrist will still hurt from attacking but that's just a side note. Because the Wii was obsessed with motion controls which is why I never gave this game a fair chance way back when I played it but just kinda forgot about it and it would get sold 1 year later with my move.

This game has 10 levels and 3 of them are bosses (it seems a lot sorter than it is trust me you will die A LOT). Unfortinentally we again don't get the freedom in the levels as there is only 1 way to beat and no NPC's to talk to. But on the bright side this game is really fun and got to cover the episodes that BFBB didn't. I recommend this game but just note there are better SpongeBob games out there.
