L is for Love [The Loud House] Review

This is an interesting episode to say the least... Hold let me just kill the elephant in the room in first.

*Shotgun sounds*

I always hated that stupid thing. Let's go with mine first and that is where have I been? The simple answer is focusing on Highschool to graduate but that's not the full. Honestly I became burnt out on reviewing. See I have this monthly cycle (not that kind) it has to do with a hobby. I get really interesting into 1 or 2 things to near point of obsession. Last month it was Kingdom Hearts and SpongeBob is one that pops up quite often as well. I can explain better in a video.

With that said we have another elephant in the room which is probably why I decided to review this episode. This is the ending according to the episode Luna is bisexual. This matters but at the same time it also doesn't. This doesn't matter because a LGBT character in a show is absolutly no big deal. Even though some parents would like for you to believe other wise. It has happened before in other shows and it has happened in this show before this.

In my mind atleast this matters on a storylines prespective. Anyway you wanna twist it this does have to do with character devolpment. Even if it were a boy, a romantic interest is still a character arc. Her doubting that she is good enough for Sam is another one.

It seems like some of the best of episodes of the show are when Luna is the main focus. 2 Seasons in she is much more than a "rocker chick." She is actually one of the best sisters in the show and her age really helps that. She is the third oldest (15) and this is the stage of your life you are a Highschool freshman and really start to think of your career and even how you want to live your life.

But she isn't the only one that recieved some character devolpment in this episode. Let's start vague, it's about time the sisters have other people that fans can ship with instead of these duechbags. Where as some of these are very generic and obviously will build on to the others are interest. Obviously Luna's crush but we also have Lincoln's who of which isn't Ronnie Ann. Which is actually a big relief and hopefully we can more information on this DDR playing girl.

Lily's crush is her teddy bear which actually pretty cute but I be wrong but isn't this a reference? Think about it Stewie Griffin (another baby in another show) teddy bear is basically his imaginary boyfriend. I don't know if this was just to not sexualize a 1 year or if it was a reference. Either way kind of cool.

Also Leni's crush is a fat guy that works at the mall in a clothing store. It fits character but kind of weird how he is the only one that society wouldn't consider "attractive." This may actually be another reference belive it or not as Leni's original character design was fat. ( www.google.com/search?client=t… )

All in all a good episode a bit predictable but interesting and funny enough to watch. 😊
